Smashed by Soccer Mom
When Officers Liu and Villanueva got to their call of a male with mental illness, they were confronted by a naked lunatic. The crazy fucker looked just like the Incredible Hulk minus green skin. He rhino charged the cops head down, fists clenched.
Liu put out a help call before they went hands on. Every cop in the area dropped what they were doing to respond. The unit closest–Smith and Fonteneaux–announced they were responding with lights and sirens.
Seven blocks from their destination, a soccer mom in an Escalade prepared to exit a strip mall. She was completely engrossed by her cell phone conversation. Didn’t hear the wailing sirens, didn’t see the patrol car approaching.
As Smith and Fonteneaux passed by, soccer mom–still on the cell phone–punched the gas and t-boned their patrol car. They never made it to the help call.
The next closest unit was three minutes behind Smith and Fonteneaux. Which meant Liu and Villanueva fought with their deranged suspect three minutes longer than they needed to–an eternity when fighting someone full of retard strength.
Fonteneaux, who rode shotgun with Smith, threw out his back. He’ll be out of work for a while.
After being interviewed for a collision report, soccer mom drove away, suburb-bound. She did what every gangster dreams of: she put a cop out of commission, and went home unpunished, unscathed.

Hope the officers recover quickly.
Hope the officer will be okay. It seems like even when people see emergency lights they still refuse to yield/acknowledge them. Another problem also is cars are getting so sound proof that people can’t hear the sirens.
People need to stay off of their cell phones and pay attention to their driving. In some states it is illegal to be using a cell phone while driving unless using a hands free device. Tickets can be issued with fines attached. I don’t know if that will deter some but it is a start.
People need to pull their heads out of the dark place that it is normally kept and DRIVE. Not talk on the phone, not texting, not correcting kids or eating. Just DRIVE!
I sincerely hope the officer’s responding to the lunatic call will be mentally and physically okay. I am so sick and tired of cell phone connected deaths, accidents, and near misses, not paying attention while operating a motor vehicle. There needs to be a nationwide BAN on cell phone usage. Each state needs to enact one NOW! I see the abuse on a daily basis. I will write citations all day long if needed.B-safe.
