Hey hey!!
Hey everybody!
My screen name is Big Daddy, I go by Jeff most of the time on the street. The screen name goes back approx. 11 yrs.. My two older kids gave me that name when they were younger, and it just kind of stuck!
I have been a stay home Dad for about 11 yrs.. I have worked warehouse jobs and did some bouncing at night during this time, but, my primary job has been Stay home Dad! Honestly, I think it is the best job in the world! With that said, here is a little background pertaining to LE. About 12 yrs. ago I was in the process for LASD, I backed out (with a phone call and letter) to start my stay home Dad adventure. A few years later I processed with LAPD and made it to the medical part. No go. High blood pressure and a failed treadmill did me in. I can go on about other depts. I have applied for, but, there isn't to much to be said.
Currently, I am in the process for a county job but the process is moving sloooow due to the budget problems in L.A. County. I have and will remain optomistic because this is what I want to do.
I don't post alot, but when I do I like to think it is for a good purpose or to pose a question to someone who has seen more than I and can offer a good answer/solution.
Thanx for the site and hopefully I can be productive here when I figure out how to navigate everything here!LOL!
