Best ankle holster for Glock 33?

Just looking for recommendations for an ankle holster for a Glock 33 (.357), not for me but for my boyfriend.

Which ones would you recommend?

Here is the one I use for on duty carry.Gould & Goodrich BootLock Ankle Holster Model 716 It secures the holster to your boot and keeps your BUG in place if you are running.

Pinki

I have had several different ankle holsters and they all sucked. The problem is that they are never comfortable. If they are not comfortable you wont wear it and this poses a new problem.

I found the Galco Ankle Glove holster and fell in love with it. Police Equipment :: Public Safety Equipment :: Police Uniforms :: 5.11 Tactical :: Duty Gear :: Baumshoe Law Enforcement Supply ::Galco Ankle Glove (Ankle Holster) CLICK that link to see it.

The Glaco Ankle Glove holster is VERY comfortable. I wear it everyday and most of the time for extended periods of time. I can go jogging with the holster on and you truly forget that you are wearing it.

Check out the link and I'm sure you will be very happy.

Reca,

Do you wear the calf strap or just the holster?

I use the Uncle Mikes ankle holster. I've worn it for years and have never had a problem.

PInki Trust me when I tell you. The Galco ankle Glove is a Cadillac of ankle holsters at a Colbolts price. You wont go wrong.

No matter what holster you chose make sure you check Baumshoe out. You wont beat their prices.

I'm pretty sure we'll go with that one. I had to go to work not too long after he got home this morning so I left Baumshoe up for him to look at it and he seemed to like the holster and Baumshoe but being that he had to leave when I got home, we really haven't had a chance to talk about it much. I may just go ahead and order it for him.

I'll go against the grain.

My G27 rides in a Fobus ankle holster. Stayed there through foot chases, movement, climbing, etc.

I assume one would buy a "right" if you are right handed? Or does that mean like "right" ankle?

Thanks Morris, we'll take a peek at the Fobus too before we decide.

Good choice Pinki...I have the ankle glove for my Glock 27, it is a great holster. I bought the strap for it and used it for several months, but for the last few months I haven't been using it and it still seems very secured.

I didnt read the part about the strap in the blurb about the holster. Should I go back and order that too or do you think since you've been using without that my bf will be fine without it?

I don't use a strap and I don't think i need one. Others may like it so you should be fine.

I take it you ordered from Baumshoe?
