I wish there were matches in Northern CA or Reno area.

There aren't any at all or just no GSSF matches?  The Carolina Cup is worth coming out this far to go to in June of every year

I've never seen a GSSF match anywhere close. The local club has IDPA type every once in a while but you need to be a member and I work on weekends. Their membership means that us poor folks can't get in.

This is the first local GSSF match, so hopefully it will go well and there will be more.
You mean that the local club only lets the club members shoot their IDPA matches???? Or, you mean IDPA members? Yeah working on weekends will make it impossible to shoot matches

Tarheel State Regional Classic GSSF match.
It's drawing near-- next month!!
Registration opens approximately 9AM both days and closes at 3PM on Saturday and 2PM on Sunday and the match begins at approximately 9AM on both days.

I've been wanting to go to the Dallas GSSF match for a long time - I'm quite sure the only chance I have to win anything is if they divide shooters into classes, but it'd still be fun.

You should go! This will be my first GSSF match so I'll post back after how it goes. But, if you aren't already a member from what I understand, they give away a gun to one new member at each match (I'll have to find out if that is true or not).

TXCharlie...they DO give away a gun at random at every match. I just read that in my newsletter that came with my membership.
