Cpl Scott Hammond
for those of you locally who have probably heard of benefit dinners, benefit rides, and other such stuff - and those who attended locally, I thought I'd drop this info
Cpl J Scott Hammond (BRPD Motor Division) died this morning - Scotty has been fighting brain cancer for a very long time. He fought with everything he had - but has finally succumbed to the cancer.
He will be missed - prayers be with his family for losing such a great guy. Prayers be with the Motors and the Department for losing a brother to such a formidable enemy.
God Speed Cpl Hammond - and may you rest easy in a much better place.

We all can make a difference…we can start by talking to friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc, about Law Enforcement. Let them know you appreciate your local department and you support their efforts. Hearing something positive about LE from supporters opens up a chance to start changing public opinion.
