MINIMUM SALARY:$1,465.769 Bi-weekly
DUTIES:
Work involves serving criminal and civil process papers, such as warrants, summons, writs of possession, foreclosures, executions, claim and delivery, restraining orders, etc. Responsible for maintaining records of warrants received and papers served, answering office telephones, and preparing bank deposits of service fees. Performs Bailiff duties such as attending court, maintaining security of witnesses and judges, and transporting prisoners between holding cells and courtrooms. Employee also performs general duty law enforcement work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or a general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.), and 1 to 2 years of experience in law enforcement work, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic certification by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education as a Peace Officer. Possession of a valid Texas driver's license.
